ਮੈਂ ਰੌਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਚ ਸਾਂਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ,
ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਰੋਵੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ।
(Translation: I cry without you, life is not in control,

ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਹੇਮ ਬੱਚਾ ਹਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਮੇਲੇ,
ਅਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਮੋਹਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਦੀਦਾ ਦੀਦਾ ਬਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਖ ਮੇਲੇ। (Translation: I am a significant child in this world today,
Didn’t even glance at the seal of my love, just met my sorrows.)
ਦਿਲ ਤਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ,
ਪਰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਰੋਵੇਂ ਪਰ ਸੱਚੀ ਹੱਕ਼ੀਕਤ ਨਾਲ।
(Translation: My heart wants to be connected with you,
but my eyes cry with the bitter reality.)
ਰੋਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਤੇ,
ਸਨੰਮੁੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ।

ਅਖ਼ਰੀ ਲੱਫ਼ਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਪਾਏ,
ਉਹ ਅਹੇਮ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਤਾਏ।
(Translation: The last words that could never be said,
those crucial circumstances never revealed to anyone.)
ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ,
ਪਰ ਹੱਕ਼ੀਕਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਚੀਨਣਾ।
(Translation: Everyone finds someone to cry with in this world,
but the reality is that it feels like everything is being taken away from us.)
ਸੁਰਾਗ ਜੋ ਸੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਹਸੀਨ ਰੰਗ,
ਉਹ ਰੰਗ ਚਢ਼ਿਆ ਸੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਸੰਗ।
(Translation: The vibrant color that was the beauty of my life,
that color faded away before you even came into my life.)
ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਹੀ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ,
ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
(Translation: Day and night, I keep crying and remembering my companion,
I don’t feel the same way about anyone else’s heart.)
ਮਿਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਰਦ ਦਾ ਹੰਜੂ ਵਰਗਾ,
ਕੁਝ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਮਝਾਂ ਕਰਗਾ।
(Translation: The tear of pain doesn’t fade away from us,
fate will never understand some explanations.)
ਦੁਖ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਤ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ,
ਰੋਵੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਹੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਸਬ ਯਾਰਾਂ।
(Translation: My mind has become an endless ocean of sorrow,
see, all my friends, I cry day and night thinking about it.)
ਤੇਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
ਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਜੀਣ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
(Translation: I wake up in the morning with your memories,
Every day without you, I consider it as death.)
ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਤਕਦੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਏਆ,
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰੋਜ਼ ਰੋਵਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਤਾਏਆ।
(Translation: I couldn’t find you in the destiny of my heart,
That’s why I cry every day, not telling anyone.)
ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੱਸ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਬਿਨਾ ਤੇਰੇ,
ਇਹ ਸੁਨਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਆਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਖ ਮੇਰੇ।
(Translation: My heart gets stuck in the moments without you,
It keeps hearing the sorrows of the world.)
ਸਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਚ ਤੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਏ,
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰੋਵਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਸਮਾਏ।
(Translation: You never came in any season of my heart,
That’s why I cried before you even occupied my chest.)
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਕੇ ਜੀਣਾ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ,
ਪਰ ਰੋਵਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਖੁਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਾਂਦਾ।
